As I sit here in the early morning hours, I'm both nervous and excited about my book coming out. This project has been one that has taken a long time to write; I'd start, stop (sometimes for long stretches of time), edit, re-edit, and more.
My sister-friend, Dethra, finally said to me, you need to finish your book! We sat down over dinner with our other sister, Melissa and charted out our plans for our own individual projects. I had a plan to get the work done and release the book on my birthday. Well, as fate would have it, that didn't happen but it's ok. I think it was just a sign that I needed to hold off a little while longer. After rounds of reviews and edits by my editor, India, we finally had a product.
